After spending a year in Australia, Sam pursued his yachting qualifications at the UK Sailing Academy before heading to Fort Lauderdale to launch his professional yachting career in 2014. His journey first brought him to Lady Joy in 2015 as Second Engineer, and after earning his commercial engineering license and Chief Engineer certification, he has returned to take on the role of Chief Engineer.

Beyond his expertise in engineering, Sam is an avid watersports enthusiast, enjoying sailing, scuba diving, and surfing. He’s also a passionate musician and skilled guitarist.
